This is the third release by Subterranean Odyssey, a recordlabel from Leeds, UK.

The artist is from Mar Del Plata, Argentina and at the time the EP would be released he would become father of a boy, named 'Juaan'. When doing some research I stumbled upon the nickname for Mar Del Plata 'the Pearl' and the Inca symbolism from the sun on the Argentine flag (strenght, hope and new beginnings).
I combined all this with the inspiration I got from some Argentine artists whose work is a bit cartoonish, like the sun in the flag.
